IRN is pleased to bring you the Oil and Gas Transportation & Logistics
2014 Summit
Oslo
The Summit has been designed to address the operational challenges in the oil and gas upstream and midstream, sector such as meeting safety and security requirements and the challenges around keeping in line with QHSE policies and standards, planning and scheduling workloads, sourcing and retaining the best operations and logistics personnel and the necessity of a more integrated approach to operations and further collaboration with third and fourth party suppliers, all while remaining fully complaint.
The meeting will also provide a number of case studies and presentations addressing the logistical challenges the oil and gas sectors faces, and the strategies and technologies at your disposal to mitigate these. The difficulties posed by remote and geographically challenging regions, managing heavy & large equipment, critical transportation requirements and cost effectively evaluating multi-modal transportation options will be assessed. Land and seaborne logistical challenges will also be addressed along with critical consideration for supply chain management and procurement within the upstream and midstream sectors to ultimately give delegates a well-rounded view of the logistics landscape for oil and gas companies operating internationally.
Oil and gas companies have long been reliant on a pioneering approach and highly innovative technology to get ahead, but the increasingly global market means that in order for companies to remain competitive, the biggest priority now is for them to attain the highest performance levels when it comes to being efficient, safe, cost-effective and on-time.
The Oil and Gas Transportation and Logistics 2014 Summit will assist you in attaining the knowledge and tools required to ensure your operations are as effective as possible with industry-wide examples and expertise over the two days.
Last year we welcomed speakers from Shell, Qatar Petroleum, Noble Energy, GE, Exxonmobil, ConocoPhillips and Petrobras amongst others, and a very senior delegate profile including senior Logistics and Operations personnel from companies such as Repsol, Eni, Statoil, Total and BG amongst others to the meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.
This year we will be hosting the event in Oslo, the capital city of Europe’s biggest oil and gas producing nation.
Join us at the second edition of the meeting, where senior level experts from across the oil industry will be brought together to hear about the latest methods and technologies to enhance efficiency and benefit from the opportunity to benchmark their operations and logistics strategies with peers.
